Controversy isn't something that Ric Flair has been unfamiliar with over the course of his long-spanning run within the wrestling business, with the star most recently coming under fire after his actions on The Plane Ride From Hell were once again thrust into the spotlight after a Dark Side of the Ring episode. But it isn't just outside of the squared circle where The Nature Boy has been known to attract some seriously negative press.

Coming during a feud between his daughter Charlotte and Natalya back in 2016, Flair was handed the mic during a promo segment on the Ambrose Asylum talk show on a taped episode of SmackDown. What followed was one of the most volatile and unexpected pieces of dialogue of the time as Flair stated that Nattie should "kill (her)self" in response to the Hart family member confessing her uncle Bret would whoop Naitch's ass.

As you'd expect, WWE were quick to erase this unplanned line from the eventual broadcast, but this moment still sits as a reminder of why it's sometimes wise to refrain from allowing certain individuals near a live mic.
