10 Craziest Bumps In WWE History

8. Triple H Faces Adversity Head-On - Judgement Day 2000

The year 2000 is regularly heralded as one of the WWE's best in history - matches were intense, stories were captivating, and feuds were ferocious. Few rivalries of those twelve months matched that between The Rock and Triple H in terms of sheer punishment. The pair put each other through hell on various Pay-Per-Views. Perhaps their most gruelling encounter came at Judgement Day in a sixty minute Iron Man match. Somewhere around the 55 minute mark the pair battled up onto the announce table. Having hit one another with their respective finishing moves multiple times over the course of the bout, The Game tried a different tactic and set up The Rock for a Rock Bottom. Unwilling to taste his own medicine, the Brahma Bull reversed the move into a Pedigree! The fact they were stood on the announce table didn't seem to factor into his mind - then again, professional wrestling isn't known for its merciful qualities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOi-6bmqTtw Whereas Bret Hart's bump is renowned because the table broke, this one is infamous precisely because it didn't. Triple H found himself driven face-first into the table's surface as The Rock's full weight crashed down on top of him. This was no half-hearted spot either - watching the video you get a sense of just how much air Rocky achieves with his jump. It makes for an impact almost impossible to watch without wincing. There is some debate over whether the table was supposed to break or not, but the look of sheer shock on both wrestlers' faces as they slide out of view suggests that they were perhaps expecting a little more give.
