2. Getting Drunk And On HBK's Bad Side

Read any of Jericho's books, and it becomes obvious that the man likes a party. Throughout his three written-word tales, there are so many instances of him making plans to go to bed one minute, before bumping into an old friend, or being convinced by a WWE peer to hit the bar. Following his memorable feud with Shawn Michaels, Jericho felt on top of the world, as if he could do no wrong. Regrettably for the 'Bad Mama Jama' of the grappling game, one night would see him indulge a little too much in alcohol, and make a fool out of himself in front of his boyhood hero. Michaels had brought his family with him on the road, and - according to Jericho - hadn't been too fussy about asking the wrestlers to tone down their usual lifestyles. Y2J took this news and ran with it, loudly swearing in front of HBK's children, something Gregory Helms warned him to stop doing, because it was visibly annoying Michaels. Not listening, Jericho kept at it, before Michaels left with his family, suitably annoyed. Jericho would find out later that Michaels was indeed pissed with him, and warned him that he needed to shape up if he wanted to be taken seriously as a top guy in WWE. Intriguingly, the thing HBK was most annoyed at what Jericho's insistence that he shouldn't have taken his family on the road if he didn't want them to hear such bad language.
