9. WWE Medical Staff Refused To Check On Saraya's Neck
Saraya's return to in-ring competition is one of the most phenomenal comeback stories of recent times, with the former WWE star joining the likes of Edge, Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, and Sting as a performer who shockingly came out of retirement after a career-ending injury.
Unlike a few of those aforementioned names, though, the one-time Paige wasn't ever cleared to compete in a WWE ring again after being forced onto the sidelines back in late 2017.
But it wasn't for lack of trying.
The now-AEW Outcast told Inside The Ropes recently that she actually tried to get her neck looked at a number of times whilst still signed to a WWE contract. However, instead of checking to see if her condition had improved, she was bluntly told that "the book was closed on that."
Not only that, if Saraya did insist on getting her neck looked at, she'd have to pay for it out of her own pocket.
Despite being understandably disappointed at that response, though, she did eventually see a doctor outside of the WWE bubble after signing a contract with Tony Khan's promotion.
And after initially not being cleared to take a bump when signing on the All Elite dotted line, Saraya was finally given the green light to bump again after a Halloween appointment with a Californian doctor to the stars.
