10 Creative Ways To Make Roman Reigns WWE's Top Babyface

7. Ditch The 'Superman' Punch In Favour Of Something More Realistic

It's not uncommon to hear boos ring out whenever Roman Reigns lines up for his trademark 'Superman Punch'. The move lacks the immediacy of something like Randy Orton's RKO, and comes across as entirely unrealistic. It's true that WWE exists in its own little reality, but why - in the middle of a fight - would Reigns pause for so long? Does he need to charge his fist or something? Obviously, this is nit picking more than just a little. However, contrast the Superman Punch to how the Curb Stomp was received whenever Seth Rollins performed it. There was a real sense of excitement, not to mention danger, whenever Rollins lined up for the move. Roman's strike sorely lacks that, and the crowd responses for each punch are diminishing. Going further, whilst Shawn Michaels did 'tune up the band' before delivering his Sweet Chin Music, he was readying himself for the move. That doesn't really work with the punch from Reigns. If anything, he should be flying off the ropes to give himself more momentum. WWE should work on another move they can give the guy as his signature. It's pretty difficult to believe one punch will put WWE stars down for the count in today's world.
