10 Current Best Talkers In Wrestling
9. Becky Lynch
Sometimes, people forget just how good someone is.
There was a bad faith take that Becky Lynch hadn't recaptured her pre-pregnancy form since her return at SummerSlam 2021, but based on the in-ring output of the following year, those takes can get in the bin. Whilst she felt a little miscast as a heel, Lynch had her best in-ring year and it wasn't even close.
Very few wrestlers hit the heights Big Time Becks did, and when they do, they become undeniable. You just need to look at the state of both women's divisions in her absence.
Yes, there are still big stars. Bianca Belair, Bayley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka. We could list out a myriad of names who could feasibly hold the strap and instantly be credible. But none of them have the same aura as 'The Man', and a large part of that is due to how Lynch commands attention when she's on the mic.
We had to put up with some crap 'Little Engine that could' nonsense, but you need only watch her exit promo the night after SummerSlam 2022 to appreciate what a megastar talent she is and just how badly the women's division misses her.
She can elevate the bad material in a way the others can't, and even if you air-dropped Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair into the division, the star power would rise but the promo game wouldn't.
That's what makes Becky Lynch a megastar.
