10 Current Superstars WWE Has No Idea What To Do With

8. Titus O'Neil

Neither Titus O’Neil nor Darren Young have prospered in the wake of the Prime Time Players’ demise, but Titus is the stranger case. The 2015 Celebrity Dad of the Year was suspended for innocuously grabbing Vince McMahon during Daniel Bryan’s retirement ceremony last year, and his career has gone completely off the rails since then.

Titus returned in May, and was promptly squashed in front of his children by Rusev. From there, O’Neil turned heel on Young, his former partner, and duo the engaged in the most unwanted feud of 2016. WWE fortunately had the sense to cut the story short, but Titus has since inherited a sizeable losing streak, reinvented himself with the “Titus Brand,” and become involved in a brief, pointless rivalry with The New Day.

O’Neil is a guy WWE clearly like having around. He’s reportedly a positive influence behind the scenes, and he’s one of the first people WWE call when it comes to attending PR events. Perhaps these positive qualities make WWE feel obliged to feature him on-screen in some form, but they have never found a way to make Titus a compelling performer. It’s highly likely that he’ll keep bouncing around in these uninteresting little angles for the duration of his career, to nobody’s benefit.
