Alberto Del Rio is one of a handful of WWE superstars who actually have a background in MMA fighting. In a previous life, he fought as Dos Caras, Jr. In 14 fights, posting a winning record of 9-5 with two knockouts and seven submissions. Del Rio made it all the way to the PRIDE fighting organisation.
In addition, Del Rio is no stranger to scrapping. In 2013, he got into a backstage fight with Drew McIntyre, and he also got into a physical altercation with a WWE employee in 2014 after a perceived racist slight. The guy has no problem throwing down.
With all that, plus the 8 inches and 70 pound advantage he has over McGregor, Del Rio would certainly win a fight between the two.
