It was then that he sustained a concussion, the latest in a series of injuries that have seemed to mount up for Captain Charisma in the last few years. Rumour has it that WWE Creative simply 'has nothing for him' or that they believe he may be too fragile after his injury troubles. WWE fans have only laid eyes upon him, aside from in his capacity as a PPV pre-show commentator, twice since March, in editions of his talk segment The Peep Show. Regardless of his current status, Christian's resume is superb. He will probably always be remembered best for his Tag Team with real-life best friend and WWE Legend Edge. They won the titles a total of 7 times and were part one of the most storied Tag Team rivalries ever during the Attitude Era, whenever they helped define the TLC match along with The Hardy Boyz and The Dudleys. He finally achieved his dream of becoming World Heavyweight Champion in WWE in 2011, when he defeated Alberto Del Rio in a Ladder Match at the Extreme Rules PPV. The moment was extremely poignant given that Edge had been forced to retire and vacate the title that his best friend won, so when the two celebrated together it warmed the hearts of the WWE Universe.
