10 Directions Paul Heyman Can Go If Brock Lesnar Leaves WWE
5. Join The Monday Night Raw Announce Team
Back in the beginning of 2001, we had a great announce team when there was Jim Ross and a heel Jerry Lawler. At the time, Lawler was married to former WWE Diva Stacy "The Kat" Carter. She was released from the company, and Lawler quit the WWE in protest of the firing. The WWE then replaced Lawler with Paul Heyman to team with Ross. Though it only lasted for eight months, many people still remember how well Heyman and Ross were as an announce team. Namely the call on one of the best matches ever between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock at Wrestlemania 17. Heyman would make a great addition to the announce team on Raw; however, they just shuffled the deck not too long ago that sent Lawler to Smackdown with Byron Saxon and Michael Cole. For Raw, Booker T was added to join JBL and Cole. It is very unlikely that they would make another change to the announce team so close to making a pretty major one, but Vince McMahon can change his mind in an instant and doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger. He knows the talent he has with Heyman, and if it is the best option to put him on the announce team, it will happen.
