6. Heyman Can Be The "Owner" Of Raw Or Smackdown On A Brand Split
Last month, it was reported that WWE filed for the trademark of "Bragging Rights". You may remember that term as it was a pay per view in 2009 and 2010 with the Raw brand going up against the Smackdown brand for brand superiority within the WWE. There would be a series of matches, along with a multi-person tag team main event, and the brand who won the most matches would get a ridiculous trophy. While the idea was good on paper, it really fell flat in terms of being really riveting. If the WWE plans to bring back the brand split, it would be a great idea to have Paul Heyman not to just be a general manager, but to basically be the owner of Smackdown. It is a radical idea that Vince McMahon probably wouldn't go with, but it would be a great idea if Heyman completely changed the look and feel of Smackdown to differentiate itself from Monday Night Raw. He could take an "extreme" approach to make Smackdown stand on it's own much like he did when he created ECW. Obviously we're not talking making the brand hardcore, but making it more like NXT is compred to Raw and Smackdown today.
