10 Disappointing WrestleMania Matches That Should Have Been Classics

10. Sheamus Vs. Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania 28

A lot of people were excited for Daniel Bryan versus Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII. Daniel Bryan had grown tremendously as a performer since capturing the World Heavyweight Championship and Sheamus had been on fire ever since his memorable Royal Rumble victory. When the match was announced as the show-opener people were anticipating something special to kick the event off in style. Bryan and Sheamus, two great workers, were more than capable of stealing the show. They must have been crushed when they discovered what WWE had planned for their 'match'. The 'match' wasn't even really a match at all. It was a kiss from AJ to Bryan followed by a Brogue Kick to the Champion's face. The whole thing was over in 18 seconds. These guys should have gotten 18 minutes for their big title match, especially when you consider they were dumped on the pre-show the year before. A lot of people were annoyed that Bryan and Sheamus were given the time that they were given on the night. WWE may have been thinking that Bryan was getting his 'Honkey Tonk Man moment' by finally receiving his comeuppance, but this wasn't the occasion to pull a stunt like this.
