10 Dumb Stipulation Matches WWE Should Never Book Again

6. Any Bray Wyatt Gimmick Match

Like the Undertaker before him, Bray Wyatt has the kind of gimmick that just lends itself to specialty matches. But unlike Taker, the Eater of Worlds has never achieved that level of classic signature match.

There was the half-baked Wyatt Compound match in 2016, the abysmal House of Horrors match in 2017, the disastrous Ultimate Deletion in 2018, and the beyond-bonkers Firefly Inferno just last December. All of them sensational on the level that you would expect from WWE's most theatrical gimmick, but together they feel like cheesy attempts to recapture the magic of the Phenom's Buried Alive matches.

Since the Fiend got lit on fire in the Firefly Inferno match, rumors have been swirling that Wyatt and Randy Orton are headed to a third theatrical gimmick match. Here's hoping that WWE finally cracks the code and gives Wyatt the showstopper he deserves, but if history has proven anything, it's that they're better off booking the standard fare.
