10 Dumb Stipulation Matches WWE Should Never Book Again
7. Ambulance Match
When you're not even allowed to say "hospital" on WWE television, what impact does an ambulance have?
An attempt to add some realism to the casket match, the ambulance match lacks the wow factor of its supernatural cousin. We see emergency vehicles so often in everyday life that seeing two wrestlers grapple to shove each other into the back of an ambulance lacks any real threat. Sure, there's always a nice bump on the roof, but it never feels like the wrestlers are in any real danger.
Spare the viewers another one of these contrived feud-enders. If the loser absolutely must be sent off in a vehicle, there are more creative options on the table. Hell, even the trash truck that disposed of Braun Strowman at TLC 2017 was a welcomed change to the formula. At least there was an element of harm, they weren't just rushing him off to the "local medical facility" to tend to his kayfabe injuries.
