9. Kama Melts The Undertaker’s Power

1995 was hardly a banner year for WWF creativity. Bret Hart and Jean-Pierre Lafitte feuded over a jacket, for crying out loud. That's what Vince McMahon and his team of writers had to offer back then. The same year, Ted DiBiase had his charge Kama nab The Undertaker's urn from Paul Bearer and melt it down.

Again, there was some sneaky depth to this plot.

DiBiase reasoned that Kama would be stripping away 'Taker's mystical powers by wrecking the urn. To hammer home the point, Kama melted the prop into a gold chain he'd wear around his neck; it was almost as if he now held the powers 'The Deadman' had been known for. That, dear readers, deserves a bit more credit.

The 'Million Dollar Man' hoped to control The Undertaker eventually. He'd actually tried this in 1994 by stumbling upon his own version of the famous character and claiming it was better than the original. When that failed, the next logical step was tapping into the energy that kept 'Taker going, then gifting it to his client.
