10 Dumbest Decisions In Recent WWE History

4. Nudging The Wrong Folks Into The Dark Side

No matter how hard WWE try to force a talent down a particular road, there's no denying that some stars are just better suited to being a pain in the ass than they are fighting the good fight for the folks at home.

The same is obviously true of the opposite, too. And it's because of Vince McMahon's insistence on trying to get fans to genuinely rain down boos on rather likeable talents that it often feels like many performers are entirely miscast and difficult to connect with.

In the case of "heelish" workers like Seth Rollins and Edge, who have both endeared themselves to the masses either through scintillating in-ring showings or heartwarming comeback stories, it's evident next to no one is legitimately vexed at their presence on the product. Instead, WWE simply have them blurt out paint-by-numbers insults as they lazily sidestep the flickers of support being sent their way.

Whereas talents like Ronda Rousey, a star clearly better suited to being an anti-pro-wrestling villain, are forced to grin and spew out phrases like "you're on-skis" due to WWE's consistent inability to hone in on a talent's true strengths and squeezing of many a round peg into a square hole.
