10 Dumbest Decisions Made By Seemingly Intelligent Wrestlers

We've already mentioned just how often Becky Lynch's confidence has been her downfall in a WWE ring. Now, it's time to throw Charlotte Flair's name into that arrogant mix.

Flair has often shown herself to be a shrewd individual and her intelligence in capitalising on whatever opportunity comes her way has led to her becoming the record holder of most reigns as a women's champion in WWE history.

Yet, she still has the tendency to make idiotic decisions and both she and Lynch made two absolute howlers when they decided to take on the Kabuki Warriors in two separate handicap matches on Raw.

There's being assured in your own ability and then there's quite obviously setting yourself up for a fall.

Flair and Lynch are both truly proficient performers in the ring and their recent records both highlight that fact. However, to openly opt to face two of the best women on the roster - the tag champions no less - without any back-up, was bordering on lunacy.

Yes, Lynch gained a victory over the team in her match, but it came off the back of a DQ finish which involved her being eventually being put through a table. Why the two ever thought they individually stood a chance of earning a pinfall/submission win in a handicap situation against the villainous team was anyone's guess.

The duo couldn't even knock off the pair in a tag-title match at TLC in 2019.
