10 Dumbest Match Finishes In Modern Wrestling History

6. John Cena Vs. Bray Wyatt - WWE Extreme Rules 2014

This must have been a rib, f*cking hell.

John Cena was famously not keen on having kids - what good is a child if they're not going to buy one of his replica spinner belts? - and so, in some warped way, the finish to his Steel Cage match with Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules 2014 made a bit of sense. Of course, that wasn't the point. The point was for Cena to be so petrified at the idea that Wyatt was able to corrupt his fanbase that he was frozen in fear, allowing Wyatt to hit Sister Abigail and escape the cage. But it's funnier to think that a child spooked Cena even before he was revealed to be some horror movie cliché.

You need a sense of humour to enjoy the finish on some level, because Jesus Christ: the idea that a kid made Cena sell 20 tedious minutes after he brushed off the interference of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan like he was Steve Austin bantering off the stooges was a disgrace.

Monsters beating down Cena?

Piece of piss.

A youngster no longer willing to buy a Hustle, Loyalty, Respect t-shirt?

Existential crisis!
