Shane O'Mac's return earlier in the year was met with a response far in excess of his actual star power. Nevertheless, it made for a captivating bit of television, the electricity of the crowd greatly ameliorating an otherwise usually mundane Raw.

So far, Shane's popularity has been sustained, even after the completely illogical booking of his WrestleMania blow-off bout with The Undertaker. Will this still be the case in a year's time, or will we have grown tired of McMahon overload as one sprog each runs a show?

It doesn't matter, because WWE are considering a Shane DVD anyway! In truth - and this largely depends on how liberal they are with the actual facts - a sit-down interview with Shane discussing the reasons for his absence could be quite intriguing. But as ever, there's the fear we won't get the whole story.
