10 Ex-WWE Superstars With Unfinished Business
3. Beth Phoenix
What Happened: If there's been one unforgivable casualty of the Diva division's failings in recent years, it is surely the Glamazon. One of the most promising female competitors to have ever walked down the ramp, Beth had the potential to be a real one-of-a-kind champion, and in fairness, her three Women's titles, one Diva's title and standing as only the second woman to ever enter the Royal Rumble are something to be proud of. Truth be told, though, the division just didn't give her enough legitimate competition or interesting angles, and by the time she left in September 2012, it felt like a missed opportunity.
How To Book A Return: If, as we recently suggested in our ideas for where the Diva Revolution can go from here, Team B.A.D. were to split, it'd create a mini-feud between a face Sasha Banks and a heel Naomi, with Tamina in her corner. The blow-off could then be a match between Naomi and Sasha, who seemingly has the deck stacked against her, until she reveals that she's managed to find someone to equalise the Tamina threat. That person? You guessed it. Of course, you could just have Beth turn up after a long, hard fought title match between two or three of the many great female wrestlers in the WWE right now and just mash them up. Either/or.
