2. Dean Ambrose Disappoints A Legend

Take a look at the face on 'Stone Cold' there.

Steve Austin was less-than-impressed by the then-Dean Ambrose when he invited the reigning WWE Champion onto his Network podcast series in 2016. A disinterested Ambrose played his 'too school for cool' routine without success. It didn't come across as cool or endearing - it just p*ssed a legend off.

The Hall Of Famer didn't even try to hide his annoyance at Dean. On-air, Austin also literally asked Ambrose if we were seeing the best of him and if he thought he was doing enough to carry the company. The champ clearly didn't appreciate that, but mumbled something professional before moving on. It was a mortifying interview.

Jon Moxley's WWE card was marked after that, no doubt. He lasted another month or so as WWE Champion, then found himself demoted into the United States Title conversation. Dean's company career limped on until 2019 when he called it quits and joined the upstart AEW.

He didn't do himself justice during the Austin appearance at all.
