10 Examples Of Triple H Being Ridiculously Selfish At WrestleMania

7. The Overbooking Of Triple H Vs. Kane (WrestleMania XV)

Triple H€™s match with Kane was another match that was bogged down by Triple H selfishly allowing other people, including Chyna, to get involved in his match. Kane was a very popular Superstar at the time, yet he was for some reason given a manager/girlfriend in Chyna. This proved to add a whole level of complexity to the match, as Chyna€™s true allegiance was ambiguous. It was one thing to have Triple H use Chyna to his advantage; it was another to have the Mean Street Posse get involved and attack Kane as well. This only made Triple H look like an underhanded coward who needed help from others to win his matches. It also made Kane look like an idiot when Chyna betrayed him in favor of Triple H. Sure, it told a good story of deception and heartbreak, but for some reason, WrestleMania didn€™t seem like the right place for that to happen. It seemed like once again, Hunter was putting his close friends and loved ones over in situations that don€™t require them. Triple H vs. Kane alone would€™ve been a good match, but Triple H selfishly dragged Chyna into the mix, which led to Kane getting embarrassed and humiliated by the opposite sex (a theme which, unfortunately, would come back to haunt Kane in subsequent years).
