10 Excellent 2015 WWE Matches That Deserve More Recognition
5. Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens (SummerSlam)
Cesaro and Kevin Owens are two of the best ring workers on the WWE main roster today. So, when WWE paired the two men together on the way into SummerSlam, anticipation was pretty high. They were given the graveyard slot on the card, sandwiched between the huge Rollins vs. Cena title clash and the highly anticipated rematch between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. Their match also immediately followed the nine-person women's elimination contest, which took a little of the energy out of the crowd. However, both Cesaro and Owens made the most of their chance to shine on WWE's big summer party. They put together a hard-hitting bout given their relatively limited time in the ring and the unfortunate position in which the match found itself. The crowd, waiting for two of WWE's biggest A-list performers to arrive, were unable to get into things, but that didn't stop Cesaro and Owens. Given the strength of Owens' work this year, his brief feud with Cesaro has largely been forgotten. It will be his series of matches with Cena that define the new NXT call-up's 2015, but he has great chemistry with Cesaro and their bout together was one of the highlights of an otherwise quite disappointing SummerSlam.
