10 Excellent 2015 WWE Matches That Deserve More Recognition

6. Roman Reigns vs. Big Show €” Last Man Standing (Extreme Rules)

WWE has spent an enormous amount of 2015 trying everything in their power to get Roman Reigns over as a big singles babyface. Bafflingly, one of the company's major strategies was to place Reigns into a seemingly endless series of matches with Big Show €“ a man who can charitably be described as considerably past his prime. Their bouts were largely dull and plodding, right up until they met in a Last Man Standing match at the Extreme Rules event. This match was a prime example of Reigns' impressive ability to step up a notch on the big stage. The two men put together a stellar battle, packed with extreme spots and stiff brutality. Tables, chairs and just about every weapon imaginable appeared as the performers beat each other to a pulp, culminating in a tremendous spot in which Reigns leaped into the air to hit a spear on Show through the announce table. Reigns doesn't get a lot of credit for his work and his feud with Big Show was forgettable to say the least. However, this was an excellent blow-off match and one that deserves to be remembered more fondly.
