10 Faces You Never Thought You'd See On WWE TV

6. Abdullah The Butcher

For more than half a century, Abdullah the Butcher criss-crossed the globe, shredding foreheads with his trusty fork and spilling buckets of blood in every major promotion. Except in WWE, where the 400-pound menace never competed.

That’s why it was surprising - and a bit mind-boggling - that the Butcher was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Never staying in one territory for long, the Madman from Sudan maintained his drawing power by causing as much chaos in as little amount of time before moving onto the next area. His maiming tactics wouldn’t have worked in the family-friendly, politically correct McMahonland, yet the chairman of the board recognized the Butcher’s impressive career and granted him the opportunity to be honored alongside his fellow legends.
