3. The People's Elbow
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1ihgXMwsAc Give The Rock credit for doing something as simple as an elbow drop and adding his own creative twist to it. That's a big reason why he is one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling. His charisma took him a long way. Being a good athlete helped too, but the fact that he could turn the People's Elbow into a phenomenon is amazing. With that said, it's not a great move. Usually he set it up with a Spinebuster (or "spine on the pine" as JR used to call it) and then the opponent would have to lay there for about five seconds as Rock soaked in the ovation from the crowd. Off goes the elbow pad. Sometimes both of them. Then he'd run the ropes a couple of times, put on the brakes and drop the elbow on the chest. The reason it's "too fake" is because of how long it takes to set up. It's as if the Spinebuster he did was the most painful move in wrestling since it kept a guy motionless for like ten seconds. It's a fun move to watch and something a lot of us loved, but it still warrants a spot as one of the fakest moves in wrestling.
