Test's success in wrestling's dating game peaked in storylines when he almost married in to the family empire in 1999, but he had prolific form in real life after his unfortunate displacement by the eventual real life heir Triple H.

Dating Stacy Keibler following her move North after the 2001 WCW buyout, Test's character never recovered from the aforementioned cuckolding despite multiple attempts to get/keep him over during a post-Attitude Era down period for the organisation.

As was so often the case at the time for performers the group didn't really know what to do with, their real life relationship was mined for content. Initially babyfaces and loved up, Keibler then became his marketing manager in order for a 'Testicles' t-shirt gag to make air. After that dropped b*llock, the company elected to position him as an abusive partner, first raising the ire of Scott Steiner before convincing 'The Big Bad Booty Daddy' that Stacy was actually worthy of all the grief he gave her in 2004.

The pair separated in 2004 around the time he was released, though Test dated within the industry yet again upon his 2006 return to the company. A relationship with nominal ECW success story Kelly Kelly ended in 2009 shortly before his tragic passing at just 33-years-old.
