WrestleMania's musical interludes used to irritate fans who weren't smart enough to use Pitbull's intro as an excuse to hit the restrooms or grab some snacks. At 'Mania XXVIII, Brodus Clay was one of the 'light entertainment' options on offer, but his dancing segment almost got shaved from the show due to time contraints.

If you hated it, then you've got John Cena to blame.

WWE chiefs were going to cut Clay dancing with his erm...mothers. Cena caught wind of this, walked up to Brodus and said he was going to the bathroom. "What do you think? Like...eight minutes?". Brodus understood the assignment. John was holding back the show on purpose so Clay could have his moment.

It was really cool of Cena to help someone out like this, but scrapped segments would become a bit of a trend for the 'Funkasaurus'. At SummerSlam, WWE decided to bin a planned match between Clay and Damien Sandow from the card due to similar timing issues.
