Chyna qualified for the tournament with a TV win over Val Venis, creating the possibility of a "Queen of the Ring" ascending the throne. It would not come to that, as she lost to former DX ally Road Dogg in the first round. The match clocked in at 13:14, the longest match of the entire tournament by nearly seven whole minutes. Kane's win over Big Show went the second longest, lumbering in at 6:29.

It also marked the first time that any woman had taken part in a singles match on a WWE pay-per-view that lasted longer than ten minutes. Even Alundra Blayze, Women's Champion for the better part of two years and a woman capable of working a credible match of that length, couldn't say that.
