10 Fascinating WWE Royal Rumble 2015 Facts

1. The WWE Network Cancellation Page Crashed In The Hours After The Show

The hashtag #cancelwwenetwork shot up the Twitter trends, virtually while a befuddled Rock was still holding Roman Reigns' arm aloft. After the 2014 Rumble, some fans felt that WWE was just trolling them by this point, and they chose to fight back by hitting WWE where they figured it would hurt.

That trending topic seemed like a good enough suggestion, and an apparently-large number of fans began unsubscribing to the service. The flood of peeved customers that went to cancel their WWE Network viewership actually caused the site to crash, due to apparent overload.

In what amounted to damage control, WWE touted shortly after the Rumble that they had reached one million subscribers (not necessarily taking into account those who did cancel), and offered February free to new subscribers.
