Jericho only needed to last about four minutes in the 2017 Rumble in order to pass Triple H's record of four hours and two seconds in cumulative Rumbles. The fact that Jericho lasted for one full hour (rest time or not) gives him a record that may not be broken for some time.

In ten Royal Rumble matches, Jericho has lasted a grand total of four hours and 56 minutes flat, averaging close to a half hour per. The only other wrestlers to have even cleared three total hours include Helmsley, Shawn Michaels (3:42:30), Kane (3:38:46), Rey Mysterio (3:20:01), and Cody Rhodes (3:08:30).

Jericho also boosted his total by lasting 50:50 in the 2016 match, and 47:53 in 2013. Like fine wine, Jericho seems to get better with age (see WrestleKingdom 12 for further evidence).
