Survivor Series remains synonymous with The Undertaker, due to his debut at the event many moons ago. Not sure why he decided, for his ten-year anniversary with WWE, to commemorate the occasion with garish snake-skin pants, but whatever. It's never wise to question the ways of The Lord of Darkness, anyway. It never ends well.

Angle's pinfall victory over The Undertaker marked the first time that the shoulders of "The Phenom" were ever counted down at the event. It also marked only 'Taker's second singles match defeat at the show, after losing by disqualification to The Rock in the 1998 World title tournament.

Undertaker won every other match at Survivor Series he was in to that point. This includes the two elimination matches (in 1990 and 1993) that he was counted out during, as his teammates held on to win said matches.
