The Radicalz had secondary involvement in the Austin/Helmsley feud, acting as henchmen on behalf of Triple H. When the Survivor Series 2000 main event spilled backstage, the four WCW defectors swarmed Austin as part of an ambush. Benoit in particular was instrumental in getting Austin out into the parking lot.

In February 2008, WWE released a DVD anthology entitled The Legacy of Stone Cold Steve Austin, which included this match. After Benoit's headline-grabbing 2007 death, WWE made it a point to keep his matches and appearances off of future WWE releases.

So how did WWE handle Benoit's involvement in the match for this DVD? They simply cut it out entirely, trimming The Radicalz' entire interference sequence with edits and jump-cuts. To the less-savvy viewer who only saw the match on that DVD, Austin and Helmsley were the only wrestlers involved in the brawl.
