10 Finishing Moves Too Awesome For WWE
3. Shinsuke Nakamura - Boma Ye
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7hSVSm41v4In professional wrestling, less is often more. This might be a strange concept to Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakaumura has had a variety of nicknames over the years, everything from 'The King of Strong Style' to 'The Child of God' to simply 'Swagsuke', and almost all of them have fit. Nakamura might just be the coolest professional wrestler on the planet, and if you aren't familiar with him you need to stop reading this and head to YouTube immediately.
His finisher is devastatingly beautiful in its simplicity. Called the Boma Ye, it is simply a running knee to the face, or the back of the head, depending on the position of the poor fool taking it. That is really all there is to it.
The name is an interesting one of course, and while I'm not sure of its origin a cursory google search tells me that 'Bomaye' means 'kill him' in Lingala, a Congolese language. It was shouted by the audience at the Rumble in the Jungle in 1974, as they bayed for Muhammad Ali to kill poor George Foreman.
Boma yeeeeeeeeeee!
