10 First Years In WWE That Went From Amazing To Awful

Much has been written of Bayley's high profile successes and failures within the WWE system over the past several years, but the highs of her NXT run only serve to emphasise just what devastating impact the main roster grind can have on just about any performer.

Labels as a 'female John Cena' were not remotely overstating her popularity on the developmental brand and the transcendent movement already forming before she even left Full Sail, but the company have not only eradicated so much of that good will, but also left her exposed to active disinterest.

A recent injury may rule her out of SummerSlam, marking her third consecutive 'big four' disappointment this year. Her short and uneventful challenge for Charlotte's Women's Title at the Royal Rumble was instantly forgotten, whilst entering WrestleMania as champion completely contravened the most simple of story arcs that should have seen her dethrone 'The Queen' at the same time as claiming her pay-per-view streak on the grandest stage.

A soft launch at Battleground last July exhibited exactly how fans can feel about Bayley, so if an injury now requires time off, here's hoping the rest and recuperation will also help rehabilitate a fractured relationship with the fanbase.
