10 Forgotten Classics From The Undertaker's WWE Career
5. Vs. Big Show - Cyber Sunday 2008
The Undertaker and the Big Show have had many battles over the years. They feuded with each other in 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2008 and rarely produced anything worth writing home about. The last of those feuds, however, proved to be the exception as it gave us a few solid offerings and one genuinely great one.
The pair met in a Last Man Standing match at Cyber Sunday and absolutely brought the house down - literally and figuratively - in a brawl that saw SmackDown's two biggest monsters tear each other apart in a desperate bid for dominance over each other. The action was believable, the spots entertaining, but it was once again the storytelling that elevated this one; revolving around 'Taker's attempts to avoid Big Show's killer KO right hand at all costs as it was his well-documented Achilles heel.
However, the irony lay in the fact that it was Show who ended struggling to put 'The Deadman' down - even after hitting that patented KO Punch.
It wasn't a perfect wrestling match and it certainly wasn't pretty, but it was a hard-hitting fist-fight between two monsters who gave it their absolute all to entertain the fans - everything we hoped (and yet never expected) it would be.
