10 Former WWE Stars Who Deserve Another Shot

5. John Morrison

Johnny Impact
Impact Wrestling

Now listen, this ain't no make-believe.

It might be a tough sell for WWE to lure John Morrison/Nitro/Mundo/Impact back into the mix in 2019, but they should damn sure try. As the reigning Impact World Champ, Morrison is still as athletic as ever and has some name value. Plus, it's mad to think he hasn't been on WWE TV since 2011.

An entire new generation of casual fans will have started tuning into Raw and SmackDown since Jo-Mo was selling his ass off and performing those slow motion entrance routines. That makes him a fresh face to many, albeit one with company history WWE can dip into in video packages to explain his relevance.

Again though, a return would hinge on Morrison's own interest, not strictly that of WWE. Life post-WWE has been kind to the guy (he's done some acting to go along with his Impact and Lucha Underground success), and he may be happy entering his 40s without the rigours of a full-time schedule.
