10 Former WWE Stars Who Have Flourished In AEW
2. 2Point0
The rise of 2Point0 in AEW should be held up as evidence of the potential anyone has of making a name for themselves.
For all the gripes people have about the misuse of stars such as Malakai Black or Andrade, absolutely nobody saw the acquisition of the former EverRise as being this successful. On NXT, they were barely featured, and when they were, they were comedy fodder, rolled out to look foolish and take a beating.
In AEW, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker have proven that when given the ball, they are more than happy to run with it. Instantly inserted as irritants to the likes of Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, the duo soon rose up the card until they helped form the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Rechristened 'Daddy Magic' and 'Cool Hand Ange', 2Point0 have been involved in some huge events such as Blood & Guts and Anarchy in the Arena, proving that they are one of the most consistent working tag teams in the company. Also, Menard has been spitting some fire promos on Twitter.
From comedy nobodies to upper card cronies, the two men have been an unmitigated success since they stepped through the AEW doors, and if Tony Khan needs a team to spoil the current good will around The Acclaimed's title ascension, then he should look no further than these Canadians.
