10 Former WWE Stars Who Have Flourished In AEW
3. Chris Jericho
It's pretty hard to say that Chris Jericho has flourished since leaving WWE, as the man already had one of the most legendary careers in the business. But, let's be honest, he has.
Crowned as the first ever All Elite Wrestling World Champion, Jericho re-invented himself as 'Le Champion' and embarked on one of the greatest runs of his career. He helped establish numerous players on the roster, gave us pop after pop with his hilarious promos, and once again proved that he, above almost every wrestler, knows how to evolve with the ever-changing world of wrestling.
'Le Champion' is up there as the best he has ever been.
It was so popular that it lead to a disappointing face turn, but things have once again worked out as 'The Wizard' has read the room, turned heel, and is embarking on one of the most critically acclaimed in-ring runs of his career. Plus, credit where it's due, he's in phenomenal shape.
Considering his last run in WWE ended with the fabulous 'Festival of Friendship' being undercut by Vince McMahon and the returning Goldberg, it's safe to say that Jericho's decision to help head up the rival promotion has been an absolute success.
He's one of, if not the, biggest name on the roster and has proven he still deserves way more than the death slot on a WrestleMania card for a secondary title.
