10 Fun Facts About My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 21

5. Seeing Motorhead Live

I€™ve become a bigger music fan in the last few years than I was when I was in my early 20s. I used to just listen to current music at the time but even I knew how cool it was to get to see Motorhead perform live in a setting like the Staples Center at an event like WrestleMania

I loved it when Lemmy sang The Game completely out of sync at 'Mania X-Seven, but in the four years since he seemed to have finally learned how to sing the song in tune. The band played the song for Triple H€™s entrance for his main event match and it succeeded in making the event feel that little bit extra special. Being in the crowd, it felt like a rock concert, watching these legends playing as Triple H appeared from underneath the stage.

There was an older guy sitting beside me and he kept just shouting €œAce of Spades€. He must have thought Lemmy was taking requests. He honestly just kept shouting for it until Batista's music hit.

Some of the musical acts at WrestleManias past have been diabolical but Motorhead are top of the crop with their live rendition of HHH's theme and, given they haven€™t done it again since, it€™s become a moment I look back on even more fondly as years go by and my music knowledge broadens.
