On television, WrestleMania XXIV looked like a million bucks. But as someone who was at the show, the WWE production team deserve a TON of credit for what they pulled off that day. When we arrived at the venue, which is in the middle of nowhere, it looked like a derelict building that was no longer in use. As we made our way inside, we figured that inside the building must be fine and its just the exterior that didnt look great. Then I saw the most baffling thing in all my years of attending The Grandaddy Of Them All.there were Citrus Bowl employees selling WrestleMania cushions with the Mania logo on them. We laughed wondering why people would buy a cushion to sit on for the event. Those fools. When we got to our section, we realised that those cushion purchasers werent fools at all. You see, in the Citrus Bowl, there were no seats. It was rows and rows of benches. We sat on those benches for FIVE hours. Luckily, the show was excellent so we forgot about it after a while but looking back, I shouldve just not been so cheap and bought one of those bloody cushions.
