As of writing this, Ive been to 11 Hall of Fame ceremonies with over 50 induction speeches and the best of them all without a doubt was Ric Flair the night before WrestleMania XXIV. When Flair came out for his speech and started crying about 25 seconds in, I didnt know if hed be able to get through it but it just got better and better. The Nature Boy talked about enjoying various incarnations of The Four Horsemen and even mentioned Chris Benoit, although it was cut from any airings of it on TV or DVD. Flair had great respect for so many of the wrestlers he worked with over the years and through his stories and memories, It was great to see him share that special moment with so many of his peers. As the event was edging over 4 hours long, Triple H had to come up to Flair and get him to wind things down since his speech had gone over two hours. Even though the length of his speech made WWE cut all the speeches the following year which meant Steve Austin only got to talk during his induction for 10 minutes, but to get over two hours of The Nature Boy telling stories, maybe it was worth it
