5. SmackDown In Vegas
Since we were making the trip to Vegas after 'Mania, and SmackDown was in Las Vegas, it only made sense for us to go along. The show itself was nothing special but, as always, it was fun to be at a TV taping and the crowd were electric for the show. Chris Jericho, who was the World Champion at the time, came out for a promo and ended up getting attacked by Edge. As Jericho was recovering, Jack Swagger came out of nowhere and cashed-in his MITB briefcase to win the World Heavyweight title. We couldn't believe Swagger was cashing in, never mind winning the World Heavyweight belt! In an unintentional piece of comedy, as Swagger hits the gut wrench powerbomb, one of Jericho's shoes went flying into the crowd. If you watch the footage from the show, you can see once Jericho's pinned that one shoe is missing. I'm sure it'll turn up on eBay someday as a piece of memorabilia.
