The Post-WrestleMania RAW has taken on a life of it's own over the years. It's now often the highlight of the weekend where the most rabid 10,000 fans from the weekend converge on an arena to see what WWE have planned for the coming year.

As we got to our seats in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, we tried to be positive, hoping that it wouldn't be another night of The Authority running the show and Roman Reigns trying to overcome the odds.

When Vince McMahon gave his son, Shane, control of the show for the night, we had two choices. We could either be outraged at the lack of logic in the story, or try and embrace the excitement of Shane actually acting as the onscreen GM figure. We chose the latter and had a great night because of it.

In a stark contrast from the previous evening, there were exciting debuts of Apollo Crews and Enzo & Cass, as well as a thrilling main event with AJ Styles, Y2J, Kevin Owens and the returning Cesaro. The Phenomenal One went on to win the match and become the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

As we left RAW that night, instead of being treated to a night of nostalgia, new acts were introduced, an injured star returned to a hero's welcome, and WWE finally felt like they were making big steps in the right direction.
