10 Funniest Wrestling Moments Of 2018

2. Titus Worldslide

Titus O'Neil Greatest Royal Rumble

Titus O'Neil is a bloody nice man, much too nice for pro wrestling, and so his moment of monumental embarrassment was lent a certain tragicomic air. This literally couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

What happened, as if you need reminding, was thus: entering the Greatest Royal Rumble match in the #39 slot, Titus charged down to the ring. Lending even more pathos to the farce, Titus hadn't appeared much on pay-per-view in recent years. This was his time to prove to Vince McMahon that he still had something to prove. Titus was never one to steal a show, or anything like that. But he could have reminded Vince of his safe, reliable pair of hands.

Hands, not his two left feet: Titus did steal this show by tripping up on the entrance matting and somehow, somehow contriving to fly directly through the ring curtain. You could almost see Vince McMahon hunched over in gorilla, absolutely pissing himself laughing - and, while it might have inspired one of his worst ideas in his worst yet ever, this imagined visual of a man having the time of his big daft life turned him babyface for a brief moment.

Michael Cole, ordered to exaggerate absolutely everything, stated "It really might be the greatest moment ever."

He wasn't wrong.
