10 Funniest WWE Dark Segments Never Broadcast

4. The Real Batman Vs. Superman

During RAW February 7th 2011, Green Bay, Wisconsin

A little bit of context again, this time from the other side of the Second Summer Of Punk.

Where the previous entry saw Triple H working on cutting off Punk’s rise to the top, here Punk himself was still four months away from that seminal 'pipebomb' promo in Las Vegas, intent on finding a way to smash through that glass ceiling.

Due to face Cena later that night, Punk - then the leader of the New Nexus - decided to interrupt Cena during the commercial break and deliver a quickfire lesson in mic skills to the former battle rapper. That was always one of the great things about Cena’s rivalry with Punk: the two had great in-ring chemistry that translated to fireworks on the stick as well, and too often it tends to be either one or the other.

Of course, Punk’s lines weren’t improvised, and it’s likely that Cena was pre-warned about the unscheduled interruption as well - still, technically Punk came out on top, as he heelishly gave himself the last word and legged it off stage before the commercial break ended.
