That quote from William Regal perfectly identifies why his bizarre pairing with 'The Japanese Buzzsaw' Tajiri worked out so well. Regal was game for anything, and when Tajiri became Commissioner Regal's on-air assistant, their effortless chemistry and eagerness to entertain made for one delightful moment after another.
Their schtick was pretty simple: Tajiri was a mildly incompetent, yet extremely enthusiastic "house boy" who routinely baffled the stuffy, smug Commissioner. Eventually, Regal was so worn down by Tajiri's feverish joy that the two became good pals.
Because this is the WWE we're talking about, a few too many jokes were made at Tajiri's inability to speak proper English, which diluted some of the pair's charm after a while.
