10 Future Trios Champions In AEW
4. Wardlow And FTR
The three former members of The Pinnacle have reunited in recent weeks to face off against Jay Lethal and his gang. A trios match has been set for All Out where Wardlow and FTR will face off against Lethal and the Motor City Machine Guns. It has been good seeing the babyface contingent of the collapsed faction realign, and they could be a formidable unit going forward.
The threesome will undoubtedly be looking to add more gold to their collection, so going after the trios titles makes sense. The TNT Champion has had a slow start to his title run after breaking out as a star earlier this year when he finally released himself from MJF’s thrall. Making the big man be part of a team again may give him the support he needs to take his act to the next level.
Meanwhile, FTR will be looking to add more gold to their lineage. The Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions have been kept away from the AEW version of the belts, so having them compete for the trios titles would be a way to make up for this problem.
