10 Great Wrestlers (With Terrible WrestleMania Records)

3. Cody Rhodes (1-5)

Big Show Cody Rhodes

Of all the wrestlers on this list, Cody Rhodes might have had the most interesting relationship with WrestleMania.

Cody's 'Mania career is very much one of two halves. The first half made Dusty Rhodes' youngest son look every bit the future superstar: a high-profile handicap match against Randy Orton was followed by victory over Rey Mysterio the following year, and Cody excelled in playing the role of shithouse heel in the aforementioned "Big Show sucks at Wrestlemania" feud.

Then, everything changed.

At WrestleMania XXIX, Cody's tag match was cancelled on the day of the show. Indeed, according to the man himself he was standing behind the curtain ready to go when he was told the news. Following this show of disrespect, WWE seemingly gave up on the younger Rhodes brother, throwing him in multi-man matches in all three of his subsequent 'Mania appearances (He lost all three, needless to say).

Of course, Cody would go on to turn this particular helping of chicken-s**t into an all-you-can-eat chicken buffet, and now sits at the head of WWE's biggest rival since the collapse of WCW.

Not bad for the grandson of a plumber.
