"Macho Man" Randy Savage and "Nature Boy" Ric Flair were perfect foils for each other.

Both were flamboyant and bombastic with unique promo styles, but Flair was a serial womaniser, whilst Savage was ferociously dedicated to his beloved Miss Elizabeth. This formed the basis of their feud in 1992, as WWE Champion Flair falsely claimed that Elizabeth used to be his before she was Savage's.

This led to an epic clash at WrestleMania VIII, which should definitely have been the main event instead of Hulk Hogan and Sid's dreary display. Savage beat Flair to win the World title and put Naitch behind him... or so he thought.

When both men were in WCW in 1995, Flair did the unthinkable by attacking Savage's aged father Angelo. This set up a series of matches at The Great American Bash and then Bash at the Beach, a show that was famously tied into an episode of Baywatch.

Flair and Savage would cross paths many more times over their WCW's careers, including in several bouts for the World Heavyweight Championship. Though not each other's top rivalry, they always put on a good show and each legend knew how to get the best out of the other.
